He channeled young Slim well, even showing restraint on rhyme schemes in areas to match the era while other areas showed his masterful technical wizardry but with somethin to say this time that goes to concept... its great if u accept the concept, light one & sit back in full absorption mode & put ur headphones on playing front to back... as long as u were a fan going all the way back..
The Throwback feel of young murderous slim over dark beats is nostalgic if ya embrace it, and unless misunderstood, the ridiculous jabs are laughworthy as intended.
There will probably be a split between how people like this album that's dependent on if they're the type to play tracks out of their phone speakers or play album thru their headphones. The latter will enjoy it more unless overly cynical.
He really wasn’t because Em followed that up with that he doesn’t want to beef with Diddy as he’ll try to put a hit on him, but got off with the reach I guess. That line is still forced, even if we’re in the Slim Shady concept.
Cuz when I don't want beef with someone I repeatedly go into the details of their domestic criminal history on projects all of our collective fans and colleagues Will hear. Hopefully nobody who can actually follow lyrics noticed that the line you're taking literally to defend your point was just a setup for a him to say "Keefe D, get him" in a Diddy voice. That'd be as embarrassing as completely butchering the wording of the only 2 (and most basic) lines on antichrist when it's one of the most lyrically dense songs on the album. Maybe indie rock reviews would be more your speed?
Absolute trash. Worst album of his career.

"I’m like an R-A-P-E-R, got so many essays. S.A.’s?”
You really missed the punch line huh? That line sets up a blazing scheme calling out P.Diddy's history of sexual assaults.
